Port information as a public body, situation and access, comprehensive security or infrastructure under development
In human resources, the main objective of the Tarragona Port Authority consists in increasing the membership of the people who are part of our team. We want them to feel committed to the project and part of our community. The staff training and internal communication are areas to enhance human value. The Tarragona Port Authority maintains a stability employment policy.
Via the Public Domain and Port Protection, the Port Authority manages the Port area for public or private usages, by granting authorisations or concessions that enable the occupation and operation of activities that are envisaged within the framework of the usages and activities established according to the regulations.
In addition, we manage authorisations for the provision of commercial services within the Port area.
In September 2022 the Official State Bulletin (BOE) published the definitive approval of the Plan Director of Infrastructure (PDI) of the Port of Tarragona. On 24 June, the official State Ports Agency approved the proposal for a 2015-2035 Plan Director of the Port of Tarragona sent by the Board of Directors of the Port itself on 25 May of that year.
The Port of Tarragona’s Code of Ethics arises from the organisation's commitment to professional excellence, transparency and integrity. These are the values that make up the personality of the Port of Tarragona in all its aspects and areas of action, as well as those that guide and will continue to guide the behaviour of each of us who form part of it.
In order to attend to you even better, the Port of Tarragona created its Customer Service (SAC) some time ago, with a clear vocation: to provide comprehensive information and response in all matters related to the Port Community, a large group comprised of different stakeholders: administrations, licensed and/or authorised companies that operate in the Port, agents and personnel engaged in port services (loading, unloading, towing, mooring, pilotage, auxiliary tasks, etc.).
Here you will find public data held by the Port, with the aim of encouraging the utilization and re-utilization of this information.
This space aims to encourage openness and re- utilization of information generated by the Port, with the objective of achieving a more transparent, efficient and amenable administration, as well as creating new opportunities, both at a social and an economic level, by re-using information flexibly, with clarity, and thereby raise awareness of the importance of transparency.
The data are available in different formats, most of which are standard, enabling re-utilization, with the appropriate conditions relating to privacy, security and property, according to each circumstance.
In this area you will find all the tenders for contracts carried out in the Tarragona Port Authority, as well as those for the public invitations to tender announced.

Tarragona Port publishes three reports annually.
The ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Report’ consists in the publication of the Port’s sustainability strategy, working within the competitiveness strategy, seeking to lead the future of the Port community by improving infrastructures, providing new services, attaining international projection and customer satisfaction.
The ‘Technical Report’ resumes, annually, the state of finances, freight movement, and traffic data in the Port of Tarragona. The Port sees the growth in traffic as a source of wealth creation and an opportunity to improve the competitiveness of our customers. The Port will continue working with this in mind, collaborating with operators and customers in the creation of new business and activity.
Finally, the ‘Port-City Report’ is a compendium of the diverse actions carried out in the Port with the objective of making the Port a meeting place and a cultural and leisure reference for the inhabitants of Tarragona and neighbouring locations. The Moll de Costa is our cultural brand, offering citizens a space integrated into the city, where tradition combines with modernity and dynamism, creating a uniquely attractive hub for our territory.
