Equality Policy in our organization
An historical retrospective illustrates that the port sector has had a predominantly male profile.
That's the reason why the Tarragona Port Authority has been working, since 2008, on the application and integration of the principle of effective equality between women and men, via a project encouraging equal opportunities between the sexes in the ambit of labour relations.
From 2011 the Authority has the ‘First Equality Plan for State Ports and Port Authorities’. This plan, in its point 8, develops the ‘Protocol for the Prevention and Treatment of Cases of Sexual or Sexist Abuse’.
