Acquisition of the module required for the reception and storage of hazardous waste from the Port of Tarragona Fishermen's Guild
This project consists of acquiring a new module and the necessary equipment for the proper reception and storage of hazardous waste from the Tarragona Fishermen's Guild, as well as dismantling the current module.
There is currently a high risk of oil and bilge water spills, as well as waste falling into the sea, due to the condition and limited capacity of both the current hazardous waste storage module and the implements available to fishermen for transporting waste from their vessels to the module provided by the Fishermen's Guild.
The aim of this project is, therefore, to handle the current module as waste and to purchase a facility that is suitable for the quantity and type of waste managed by the fishermen of the Guild.
