Business persons from the Tarragona Association of Service Companies visit the Port

At midday on Friday, a group of forty business persons from the Tarragona Association of Service Companies (Associació d’Empreses de Serveis de Tarragona –AEST) visited the installations of the Port of Tarragona, with the aim of strengthening the direct relationship between its members and the Tarragona Port infrastructures. The representatives of the service companies, headed by the chairman of AEST Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, were able to learn at first hand about the specialised services and infrastructures that the Port of Tarragona offers to its clients.

The chairman of the Port of Tarragona, Josep Andreu, received the business persons in a meeting in the TPA building’s function room, where he told those attending about the Port’s strategic lines of growth based on promoting its international profile, diversifying traffic, a commitment to strategic infrastructures, sustainability, and a commitment to cruise ships, as well as a vision of the Port of Tarragona developing into a logistics hub.

For his part, the director of Port Infrastructures and Preservation, Carles Segura, explained to attendees about the activity of the Port’s infrastructure in the area of maintenance and preservation.
Later, the business people paid a visit to the Port’s installations in situ.
