The Port of Tarragona welcomes the fifth cruise ship of the season
The Pullmantur company’s cruise ship Horizon is visiting Tarragona tomorrow. The ship, which previously visited the Port last season, will dock at 9:00 am in the Port of Tarragona’s cruise ship terminal, located on the Moll de Llevant dock, with about 650 passengers on board, most of which are of Spanish nationality. The Horizon will arrive at the Port of Tarragona from Malaga and will set sail at 10:00 pm the same Sunday for Palma de Mallorca.
The cruise ship Horizon sails under the Maltese flag, and has a length of 208 metres, a beam of 29 metres and a maximum draught of 7.7 metres.
Traffic along the Passeig de l’Escullera
Passengers will be transported by bus and taxi from the cruise ship terminal to the city along the Passeig d’Escullera, which is why, from today at 12.01 am and throughout Tuesday, pedestrians will only be able to use the lane on the Passeig d’Escullera painted in green. For the pedestrians’ own safety, access will not be allowed for skaters or cyclists.
The lane for wheeled vehicles will be marked out with traffic cones, and encroaching on this part of the thoroughfare will be forbidden.
