The cruise ship Ocean Nova will dock in the Port of Tarragona on Tuesday
On Tuesday the 18th, the Port of Tarragona will welcome Ocean Nova, the second cruise ship of the season, with 98 passengers on board. The cruise ship will dock at 8:00 am in Port Tarraco, at the Moll de Costa dock, coming from the port of Roses (Girona) and will sail at 6:00 pm for the port of Valencia.
The programme organised for the passengers includes an excursion to the Roman Tarragona, visiting the archaeological museum, the Roman circus, the amphitheatre and the city’s old town.
The cruise ship, owned by the company Cruise Management, and sailing under the flag of the Bahamas, has a length of 73 metres and a width of 11 metres. The Ocean Nova is the second of the five cruise chips expected during the month of April.
The best season for Tarragona Cruise Port Costa Daurada
This year the Port of Tarragona will welcome 40 cruise ships with a total of 40,000 passengers on board. And from June 2nd to September 29th, Costa Cruises will operate in the Port of Tarragona for the first time, from where a cruise ship will depart every Friday with a capacity of 1,725 travellers. Tarragona Port Cruises Costa Daurada is consolidating its position one more year as an exclusive destination for international cruises in the Mediterranean.
