The aim of this Project is to reduce traffic congestion and to improve the environmental impact of the intermodal transport system, contributing to the creation of an efficient and sustainable transport system, which gives added value on the community level.

The Project aims to develop and disseminate innovative measures for the planning and selection of transport chains:

• Using advanced methods for the analysis of the different alternatives.
• Implemented on a web tool, according to actual technology.
• Sharing knowledge between the public and private sectors.
• Transferring know-how to the small and medium logistic operators.
