The Port of Tarragona will receive two cruise ships this Friday

One of the vessels will dock on the Llevant Wharf and the other in Marina Port Tarraco

Two cruise ships will dock in the Port of Tarragona this Friday 18 May. At 9 am the Seabourn Ovation belonging to Seabourn Lines will dock on the Llevant Wharf having sailed from Sete (France). The vessel is 210 metres long and can carry 604 passengers. The Seabourn Ovation will sail for Málaga at 7 pm. Half an hour before the cruise ship departs, the Xiquets del Serrallo human towers group will build a farewell tower.

At the same time, 9 am, the cruise ship Star Flyer, belonging to Star Clippers, will dock in Marina Port Tarraco, having sailed from Valencia. With a length of 117.57 metres and a capacity of 170 passengers, the Star Flyer will sail for Barcelona at 9 pm.

Traffic on the Escollera Promenade

Cruise ship passengers will be taken by coach and taxi from the cruise ship terminal to the city via the Escollera Promenade. Therefore, from one minute past midnight on Friday until midnight on Saturday, pedestrians will only be able to use the green-painted lane on the Escullera Promenade. For the safety of pedestrians, vehicles, cyclists and skaters will not be allowed access.
