The Port of Tarragona and the URV sign a general action agreement

This Wednesday 2 May, the Port of Tarragona and the Rovira i Virgili University signed a general action agreement within the institutional relations framework the two bodies have maintained since 1993. The signing ceremony was held at the Tarragona Port Authority. The objective of the agreement is to promote and strengthen staff training activities, scientific research, technological development, and the exchange of experts, etc.

The agreement was signed by Josep Andreu, president of the Tarragona Port Authority (TPA), and the rector of the URV, Josep Anton Ferré, in the presence of other authorities from academia and the Port. In representation of the latter: Yolanda Vizcarro, secretary general and director of Legal Services; Manuel Manrubia, Administration and Finance director; Xabier Larrañaga, Human Resources director; and Marta Virgili, head of Institutional Relations and the Presidency. The university was represented by Miquel Àngel Bové, vice-rector for Transference and Innovation; Jordi Tous, vice-rector for University and Society; and Antoni González, delegate of the rector for Institutional Relations.
