Visit of the President of the Tarragona Chamber of Commerce, Laura Roigé, to the Port of Tarragona

Laura Roigé met the Chairman Josep Andreu for the first time since she was elected to office

The newly appointed President of the Tarragona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation, Laura Roigé, met with the Chairman of the Port, Josep Andreu, in her first institutional visit to the Port’s infrastructure since she was elected to the post. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the strategic issues concerning the city and to continue collaborating for the benefit of the region.

The highest representatives of the two institutions spoke of the need to continue working to boost the growth of the Port of Tarragona, the LAZ and the actions to be implemented for the Mediterranean Corridor. They also reviewed the initiatives in which they participate jointly, such as the Strategic Commerce Plan, the promotion under way in the cruise sector, and the internationalisation of companies.
