The Environmental Control Panel (ECP) is a system that provides comprehensive, integrated meteorological, oceanographic and environmental information (air, water and ground quality) from the network of instruments, as well as oceanographic and meteorological diagnoses and forecasts, with the aim of facilitating decisions taken in matters affecting port operations.
The ECP currently consists of data from different information sources, both real time and predictions:
The instrumental network installed in the Port (meteorology, air quality, buoys, tide gauge, etc.)
Information from the numerical models managed by different institutions: the State Meteorology Agency, the State Ports Authority, etc. (through different cooperation agreements).
It is a website application defined as a system of indicators that aid decision-making and control by providing the user with environmental, meteorological and oceanographic information.
