The Turkish consul, Selen Evcit, together with Elif Berrak, Turkey’s Commercial Attaché in Barcelona, today visited the Port of Tarragona, where they were received by its president, Josep M Cruset, and the members of its Executive Committee.

The visit began with a presentation of the Port of Tarragona by the president himself, while the explanation of the new ro-ro service, its characteristics and main advantages was given by Genoveva Climent (Port Tarragona Director of Marketing and Business Development) and Marc García (Ekol Logistics Marketing Manager).

The informative session ended with the traditional presentation of a commemorative gift and the signing of the Port of Tarragona Book of Honour. The management team then accompanied the Turkish representatives on a boat trip to see the Tarragona port facilities.
