The Port of Tarragona is organising an informative day-conference in Valls Chamber of Commerce

The objective of the day-conference, organised in collaboration with the Chamber and with DP World, is to promote container traffic among the companies in the Alt Camp and surrounding areas

The Port of Tarragona is organising a technical day-conference in conjunction with Valls Chamber of Commerce next January 23rd. The Conference will be held in the Chamber’s conference room and aims to raise awareness of the Port of Tarragona’s services and competitive advantages in the companies in the region, especially those with constant international operations.

The programme will begin at 10 a.m. with a presentation of the Port of Tarragona’s strategic lines, given by its commercial director, Genevieve Clement. Xavier Boluda, Managing Director of DP World Tarragona, the company holding the concession for the container terminal, will then present the company's regular maritime services, as well as the competitive advantages of the Port of Tarragona compared to other ports. Lastly, there will be a workshop so that interested entrepreneurs can maintain contact with both the representatives of the port infrastructure and with those of DP World.

This event is part of the commercial strategy that is being carried out to promote this type of traffic, containers, among companies in the immediate surrounding area.
