Workshop to generate synergies and new business opportunities between Peru and Tarragona

Next Tuesday, June 27th, the Port of Tarragona, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Peru in Spain, will organise a workshop on the topic 'Peru: Business opportunities and Investment in Equipment Goods'.This cycle of conferences/networking will be held from 10:00am to 1:00 pm in the Functions Room of the Tarragona Port Authority, and will feature the opening paper presented by its chairman, Josep Andreu Figueras.

The chairman of the Port will open the conference, and then give the floor to the chairman of the Peru Chamber of Commerce in Spain, Mr Pedro Velarde Farro. Other speakers will also include the consul general of Peru in Barcelona, Ms Franca Deza Ferreccio and the chairman of APPORT, Mr Andreu Suriol Ribé.

The aim of the conference is to study and jointly disseminate business and trade opportunities that can help both territories. Peru’s free-trade treaties with the EU, customs, the main fiscal and financial aspects of the country, and the opening up of the equipment goods sector, will take up much of the planned programme.
