The Port of Tarragona in an effort to provide the best service to its customers has signed an agreement for collaboration with the Meteorological Institute of Catalonia (METEOCAT) to develop a system for the prediction of sea state inshore of the Port of Tarragona.

The service supplies sea state warnings, extreme conditions, currents, large waves, etc. as well as a historical records section and a forecast for the next few days.
